Russell has worked in Early Years for over 20 years in a variety of management roles both in the UK and abroad. He is a graduate of Kingston University with a degree in Early Years Education and is excited to be leading the team at Little Nick Ewell as both Manager and joint owner.
He is especially looking forward to using the wonderful outdoor space, provide innovative and engaging activities, developing the team and building relationships with parents, families and the wider community, including 2nd Ewell Scout Group (whose facilities we use).

I am qualified as a Graduate Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) early years teacher and also hold a Master's Degree in Early Years Education. I have acquired over 20 years experience of working in the private early years sector, as an Assistant, Deputy Manager and teacher, Manager/ Early Year Teacher, and SENCO plus as an Afterschool Club Manager. I am passionate about the field of early years and an advocate of child's Voice and Sustained shared thinking. I believe children learn best when their voice is heard and their interests is being acknowledged.

Karl has over 20 years experience of leadership within both the primary and secondary school sectors. He is currently Inclusion Manager and SENDCo in a large secondary school. Karl is also a trained 'challenge partners' primary and EYFS reviewer and enjoys working within the EYFS and Primary sectors.
